Can I amend the lease without the Landlord or Tenant's consent?
No, the lease is a legal contract between a Landlord and Tenant that cannot be altered unilaterally. Our Lease Amendment contains spaces for the Landlord and Tenant to acknowledge their consent to the amendment by signing their names.
I do not know when the Lease Amendment will be signed. Can I fill in the date later?
Yes, by selecting 'Unsure' as the date the agreement will be signed, a blank line will be inserted into the contract so that you can add the correct date after printing the document.
