Canadian Divorce Agreement

The legal description can be found on the deed or abstract to the property. Please select who will receive the property after the divorce. Select "Joint" if the parties will continue to own the property jointly after the divorce.

Please enter the asset, description of asset, current value of asset, and owner of asset after the divorce. Add as many assets as you need.

You will need to enter the following information: Account name/number, financial institution of account, the account owner, petitioner's share and respondent's share.

For account number, you need only include the last four digits. Example: "Savings Account ending in 1234." For Account Owner, describe who currently owns the account. Example: "Joint Account," or "Smith's Personal Account." For each spouse's share, enter the percentage or dollar amount each spouse will receive from the account. For example:petitioner 60% and respondent 40% or petitioner $85,500 and respondent $34,000. Add as many accounts as needed.

You will need to enter the following information: vehicle (make and manufacturer), description of vehicle (color and year), license plate, VIN number, current value and owner after divorce. Provide as much information for each vehicle as possible. Example: "Black 2018 Toyota Camry SE Automatic, JTNB11HK0J3001033." You should also indicate which spouse is responsible for maintaining the vehicle. Add as many vehicles as needed.

Provide as much information as possible. You will need to enter the following information: vehicle (make and manufacturer), vehicle type, vehicle description (color and year), current value, and owner after divorce.

For example, "Whole Life Insurance Policy ending in 5624, ABC Insurance, Juan Carlos, $900,000." Add as many insurance policies as needed.

List of any furniture, equipment, or other items of significant financial or emotional value. Add many household items as needed. Make sure you fill in all the fields.

Include items that are of significant financial value or importance, such as key pieces of artwork, photo albums, ornaments and collections. Add many personal property items as needed.

For example, "Airplane Airlines frequent flyer account, Juan Carlos, 89,150 points". Not all rewards programs allow transfers, please check with your specific program.

These debts refer only to money owed to the spouses divorcing. Please enter the debtor, description of debt, total amount of debt, proof of debt (select "Yes" if you have proof the debtor owes the debt), and owner of debt after the divorce. Example: "Juan Carlos, Loaned Money for Rent, $15200.00". Add as many debtors as you need.

The "current percentage of total ownership" refers to the total percentage of the business or company owned by the parties. Example: "60% of ABC Incorporated." Enter a percentage of the total ownership that each spouse will receive after the divorce. Example: "petitioner -45% and respondent - 55%."

Any mortgage listed will need to be refinanced if both parties are currently obligated on the mortgage and only one spouse will be responsible after the divorce. Provide a percentage or dollar amount each spouse will be responsible for. For example: "petitioner - 55% and respondent - 45% or petitioner - $65,000 and respondent - $54,000."

Enter a percentage or dollar amount of the debt each spouse will be responsible for. Example: ATOZ Loan, $8,000.00, 8000 Toyota, petitioner - $8,000.00 and respondent - $500.00.

Enter a percentage or dollar amount that each spouse will be responsible for paying. Example: Visa Card Number 7859, $8000.00, petitioner, $8,600.00 and respondent, $3,300.00.

Enter a percentage or dollar amount of the money still owed for each loan and each spouse's responsibility. Example: GMC Auto Loan, $18,000.00, petitioner - 80% and respondent - 20%.

Enter a percentage or dollar amount of the loan each spouse will be responsible for. Example: ACS Loan, $6,000.00, 3000 Honda, petitioner - $6,000.00 and respondent - $0.00.

This question is intended to list any assets or debts not included previously in the interview. You should specify a dollar amount or percentage for each item that each spouse will be responsible for or receive. For example: "Apartment located at 587 Carson Drive Sunnyside, New York 11104 , $89,000,000, petitioner - $80,000,000 andrespondent - $5,000,000."
